KAY OLIN NAMED OFFICIAL SPOKESPERSON OF THE MENTORING AND INSPIRING WOMEN IN RADIO (MIW) GROUP
NAPLES, FL, April 24, 2014 – The Mentoring & Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW) Group’s Executive Committee is pleased to announce that Kay Olin has been named the official MIW spokesperson, effective immediately. President of Olin and Associates, LLC, Kay Olin succeeds longtime spokesperson and Greater Media’s Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications Heidi Raphael, who will continue to serve as a member of the MIW Executive Committee.
Former President of Local Focus Radio, Kay Olin is a 30+ year radio veteran with both local and national experience. In addition to her new role with the MIWs, she also serves as the National Chair for the Alliance for Women in Media (AWM). Kay has been honored as one of Radio Ink Magazine’s Most Influential Women, was a recipient of the Atlanta Broadcaster’s coveted Lifetime Achievement Award and was named as one of Atlanta’s Top 25 Women to Watch in 2008 by Atlanta Woman Magazine. Although she is actively involved with the MIWs, AWM and RAB, and has served on the board for Georgia Public Broadcasting, Kay is most proud of her mentoring initiatives through the MIW and AWM organizations.
